EPHESIANS: OUR IMMEASURABLE BLESSINGS IN CHRIST (FOR WOMEN)
Though attempting to live a transformed life by the power of the Holy Spirit, the church in Ephesus was immersed in an evil culture and surrounded by sin and pagan ways. Discouraged believers needed a reminder of God’s grace and love, of the blessings they had in Jesus Christ, and of their commitment to holiness. Written by the apostle Paul as a letter of encouragement and admonition, Ephesians gives a refresher course in New Testament doctrine and provides a practical blueprint for Christian behavior. Through this letter, Paul shows us our continual need for God’s help and demonstrates that everything good we enjoy is an expression of His great love.
TITUS 2: Bible Study Group
This group puts into practice the command of scripture found in Titus 2:3-5. Two mature Christian women, Dolly and Dottie, lead this group by encouraging younger women in their Christian walk as they meet weekly for Bible study. The night begins with time for dinner or coffee, if desired, followed by a one hour time of Bible study and discussion, all in the welcoming environment of Panera Bread. When a holiday falls on a Monday, the ladies take the week off and resume meeting the following week. The group will be studying the book Anxious for Nothing: Finding Calm in a Chaotic World by Max Lucado.
1 SAMUEL, PART 2: God's Search for a Man After His Own HeartPrecept Upon Precept (PUP) NASB - Precept Ministries
From judges to kings, from the departure of God's glory to the assurance of His help, from inquiring of the Lord to inquiring of a medium - this book of contrasts sets before us the importance of a life of obedience and how it's lived out in the midst of interpersonal conflicts.
BEHOLD YOUR GOD: The Weight of Majesty
The Weight of Majesty is a continuation of the theme that was explored in Rethinking God Biblically—that God Himself is the great attraction of the Christian life. Nothing is so satisfying for the true Christian as an ever-increasing and experiential knowledge of our God.cannot be gained safely without diligently searching the Bible. Therefore, the real purpose of this study is to guide you back into those passages which contain some of the most significant descriptions of God. Sit long at the feet our Heavenly Father and ask Him to tell you about Himself.
