Radical’s Secret Church is a unique, one-night event that is streamed each Spring to tens of thousands of participants around the world. Encouraged by our persecuted brothers’ and sisters’ example, we meet for close to 6 hours for intense study of God’s Word and passionate prayer for the persecuted.
What to Expect:
STUDY: This year, we will take a 6-hour deep dive to study the Gospel of Matthew. A thoughtful book on promise and fulfillment, showing us what it means for Jesus to be Immanuel, God with us. This book declares the Good News of Jesus; he is the fulfillment of covenants, traditions, and laws for a chosen people. Matthew redefines the “chosen people,” inviting everyone—regardless of social, religious, or economic status—to the table. Today, we are invited to be a part of that table and experience the Good News of Jesus for ourselves.

PRAY: We will explore the story of the persecuted churches in Indonesia, North Korea, Myanmar, and other hard-to-reach places. We will learn how to pray and support our brothers and sisters in these countries, considered by many to be some of the most hostile-to-Christians countries in the world.

ACT: We will be challenged to live on mission–in our neighborhoods and to the nations.
Why the Gospel of Matthew?
Matthew’s Gospel portrays Jesus’s ministry as ushering in the now-and-not-yet kingdom of heaven. The upside-down nature of the kingdom of God is a counter-cultural message that is essential to our faith. This deep dive will reveal the path that Jesus clearly set before us and how all we have to do is be bold enough to follow his lead.
About Secret Church:
Years ago, Pastor David Platt taught and ministered among underground Asian house churches where believers were forced to gather in secret, sometimes at the risk of their own lives due to hostility from the government, from the surrounding community, and even from their own families. Secret Church is an opportunity for us to gather and intensely study the Bible and pray like and for our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world.

Whether you only attend weekend services, are a small group leader, a pastor, a high school student, or just someone who loves the Bible, Secret Church will help you grow in your faith through the study of God's Word and our prayers for our brothers and sisters in Christ throughout the world.
